a new leader rises and gives hope
soon time will make him a person who lost
its only time before a child learns to cope
with the perils of the world and its cost
fashions change and bring in a new rage
what is “in” will soon be “out”
with time a young face wrinkles with age
a simple life is now full of doubt
not you nor I will in the end have a say
in the end only time will have its way
